Saints boss keen to keep on moving

Alan Pardew hopes Southampton will find themselves out of the drop zone for the first time this season after Saturday's trip to Leyton Orient.

Saints started the season on minus 10 points following last term's fall into administration, but they head to Brisbane Road knowing a fifth straight win could lift them to the heady heights of 18th if other results go their way.

"There is a good chance that, if we win the game, then we will be out of the relegation zone because of the goal difference we have built up," said Pardew.

"It would be massive for us if we can get a win as we don't want to lose the momentum we have built up."
