The 20-year-old has enjoyed loan spells with Swansea and Hereford in League One over the past two years and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Southend.

Brandy will be available for Stimson until mid January, with his final game set to be the trip to face rivals Swindon on January 16.

"will get sold as wellbeck & macheda have more 1st team experience & 2 years younger!!"

joec8 (Sheffield Wednesday fan)

"He's not up for the challenge of United I don't think. United do need to nurture King, who is looking incredible right now."

swanseadevil (Swansea City fan)

"agree with toxic and welshwonderkid"

WelshWonderKid (Manchester United fan)

"Had high hopes for Febian having seem him play quite a bit for the academy and the reserves but not improved as much as I expected. Plenty of potential and pace to burn and should do ok in the lower leagues but probably not going to make it at United."

Toxic (Swansea City fan)

"I'm a Swans fan and there is no way on earth Brandy will make it at United, I think Fergie is just putting him in the shop window. He tried his hardest, and scored a couple of goals when we were in league 1 but he's a bit of a headless chicken."

darkhaze90 (Manchester United fan)

"Macheda and Welbeck are much more better than Brandy. They are big game players but not Brandy. Maybe Brandy is more suitable to League 1 and will score lot of goals, eventually sold permanently."

JL (Manchester United fan)

"brandy needs to get out and play fergie overlooking him with macheda and welbeck "

gfc4life (Gillingham fan)

"Niiiiice Stimp =)"
