Campbell-Ryce to miss Rams clash

Barnsley manager Mark Robins will be without winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce for the Tykes' clash at Derby County on Tuesday night.

The Jamaica international sustained a freak eye injury when he was hit in the face by the ball during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Watford. Although a scan revealed no serious damage, Campbell-Ryce is expected to be sidelined for between 10 and 14 days.

Adam Hammill, a summer signing from Liverpool, is likely to step up after replacing Campbell-Ryce at Pride Park.

Robins will still be without striker Daniel Bogdanovic, who has damaged ankle ligaments, in his second game in charge, while goalkeeper Luke Steele is out with a broken finger so David Preece will resume in goal after making his debut at Watford.

Barnsley lie bottom of the table and without a win from their first six matches.
