Bournemouth's Josh Gowling will wait until the dust settles on the Cherries' relegation before he makes a decision on his future at the club.
Gowling, 24, is one of a number of players who is out of contract in the summer and would therefore be free to leave Dean Court on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling.
While Cherries boss Kevin Bond has expressed his desire to keep Gowling and his other star players, he knows that it will be difficult to persuade them to stay.
Gowling to the Daily Echo: "I didn't realise how much I loved the club until after we had gone down so it would be hard to leave.
"But I've got to make the right decision for me and my career. My agent will be talking to the chairman this week.
"It was new to me and I'm definitely not over it. It's hard to describe but it makes you feel a bit numb. It's the first time I've gone through it."
