Bournemouth defender Ryan Garry is an injury doubt ahead of the visit of Aldershot for their League Two encounter on Tuesday night.

Garry scored the only goal of the game against Rotherham at the weekend but took a blow to his head in the process.

The 25-year-old revealed after the match he had no recollection of scoring or celebrating the goal as he had suffered concussion.

Garry will be assessed by a doctor on Tuesday afternoon and if he is ruled out, Scott Guyett will replace him in the starting line-up.

Veteran striker Steve Fletcher will be named on the substitutes bench as boss Eddie Howe revealed he would not start two games in such quick succession.

Alan Connell is expected to replace Fletcher and the Cherries are likely to have only four players on the substitutes bench due to injuries to Jeff Goulding (ankle), Marvin Bartley (back), Shaun Cooper (hip) and Danny Hollands (knee).
