Brentford defender Mark Phillips has emerged as an injury doubt ahead of Saturday's FA Cup first-round trip to Gateshead.
The former Millwall centre-half limped off at half-time during Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Exeter, and boss Andy Scott revealed he was already struggling with a knock which he kept to himself.
"Mark is a whole-hearted player who wants to play in every game, but it didn't do us any favours that we didn't know about his injury," said Scott.
The Bees have been boosted by the news on-loan Bristol City defender James Wilson has been given permission to play in the cup.
Wilson was this week called up to the Wales Under-21 squad for their forthcoming trip to Bosnia & Herzegovina.
