Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll has hinted trialist Tomi Ameobi may have done enough to earn a permanent deal at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The 19-year-old Leeds striker started training with Rovers last week and O'Driscoll has been impressed with the youngster.
Ameobi now could become the club's third summer signing following the arrival of Darren Byfield and John Spicer.
"Hopefully we'll do something on Monday," said O'Driscoll. "He's impressed in training and during the week away that we had and he's one for the future.
"He's a couple years away from being the finished article but he's got a presence about him.
"He's aggressive and having lost Mark McCammon who gave us that, Tom is a young one and one that if we treat him right he could be one for the future."
