Beckett: Linked with a move away

Beckett, 31, has been linked with a move away from the Galpharm Stadium all summer, while new boss Ternent has made striker Keigan Parker one of his four close-season signings.

But Ternent told the club's official website: "I told him (Beckett) that I'm quite happy for him to stay here.

"Luke can score goals and if he wants to be part of the club that's fine by me.

"If he wants to do something else I'll look at that and try to help him.

"The same goes for all of the players, but transfer fees and replacements will come into the equation."
