Harford has high hopes for Charles

Luton manager Mick Harford believes Ryan Charles, one of the few positives in an otherwise dismal season, has all the makings of "a good pro".

The 18-year-old striker made his senior debut earlier this month and has since made four more appearances and Harford has high hopes for the teenager.

"Ryan's a threat," said Harford. "He's enthusiastic and his enthusiasm is never ending and that puts defenders under pressure.

"He's our new baby and hopefully he will make a good pro. His attitude has been spot on and he's a breath of fresh air."
