Nicholls remains committed to Luton

Luton captain Kevin Nicholls has committed his future to the club in the wake of their relegation to the Blue Square Premier.

The Hatters' valiant attempts to overcome their 30-point penalty ended on Monday when they succumbed to relegation, but Nicholls has joined boss Mick Harford in declaring himself up for the fight at Kenilworth Road.

"The most important thing now is to keep this group together and bounce back, which won't be easy as it's a very difficult league to get out of," he said.

"But I believe we can bounce back and bring the good times back to Luton. I'm certainly staying a Luton Town player unless I hear otherwise."
