Davies handed Welsh opportunity

Oldham striker Craig Davies has been called into the Wales Under-21 squad to face England in Thursday's friendly at the Racecourse Ground.

Davies, 22, was initially on stand-by but has won a call-up as an over-age player and joins Latics team-mate Neal Eardley in Brian Flynn's squad.

Both players have represented the senior Wales side this season.
