Torquay hit by double injury blow

Torquay skipper Chris Hargreaves and centre-back Kieran Charnock are early injury doubts for Saturday's League Two trip to take on Rochdale.

Hargreaves: Knee problem

Charnock suffered a hamstring strain during the early stages of the Gulls' 2-1 home defeat by Bournemouth while Hargreaves was substituted just before half-time with a knee injury.

Gulls boss Paul Buckle said: "It was a big blow to us losing Chris because Bournemouth certainly offer aerial presence, so that wasn't great nor was losing Kieran. But credit to the boys that came on.

"I thought to lose our centre-half and Greavsie going off, to lose their aerial presence, I thought that was a telling point in the end especially with the way their goals came about."
