County closing in on duo capture

Notts County are set to sign strikers Delroy Facey and Sean Canham after holding talks with Ian McParland and agreeing personal terms.

Facey: Set for switch

McParland has been tracking Facey for some time and looks to have got his man after the 29-year-old's contract with Gillingham was cancelled by mutual consent.

Canham, 23, is relatively little-known but scored 41 goals for Team Bath as they won promotion to the Blue Square South last season.

"It has been a frustrating few weeks but our patience has been rewarded," McParland told the club's official website.

"I am delighted that both players have agreed to join us and if their medicals go through without any hitches, they will be in line for selection at Bradford on Saturday."
