Hill: Le Fondre has part to play

Rochdale manager Keith Hill insists striker Adam Le Fondre remains a crucial part of his plans for the League Two outfit this season.

Le Fondre has been among the substitutes for the past two outings and fellow frontmen Chris Dagnall and Jon Shaw both scored in Saturday's 3-1 home win over Barnet.

However, Hill says Le Fondre will get plenty of opportunities to show what he is capable of over the coming months.

"Adam hasn't sulked and his attitude is spot on," said the Spotland boss.

"There will be times when he will be picked ahead of Chris and Jon."
