The 19-year-old, who is on loan with the Magpies until January, has impressed during his early appearances for the club.
Ian McParland admits the loss of Beardsley is a blow to his side but has called on Adam Tann to establish himself at right-back.
"It's obviously a blow to lose Jason, but also for the team because he has settled in well and performed to a good standard," McParland told the club's official website.
"It's naturally a blow, but injuries are part and parcel of the season and we will deal with it.
"Adam Tann played at right-back last week and he has been unfortunate not to be in the team so far this term, so he will be getting a run in the team now and it is up to him to establish his place."
