First-team coach Paul Trollope insisted there were plenty of positives to take from Bristol Rovers' pre-season friendly loss to FC Copenhagen.
The Pirates began their Scandinavian tour with a 3-2 loss to the Danish side. Trollope felt Rovers were impressive in the first-half but suffered from fatigue after the break.
"We didn't win the match but there are a huge number of positives we can take from it," Trollope told the club's official website.
"We wanted a progression from the performance against Torquay, and we certainly got it. We had an exceptional first-half and we passed the ball very well and created a number of chances.
"We took a deserved lead through a good goal from Jeff Hughes and, in terms of our composure and our passing and movement, that was the best we have been so far.
"But we know we have to eradicate the individual error and maybe they were due to fatigue because of the heat and the travel. We need to concentrate and get them out of our play, but a lot of things are shaping up very nicely."
