The second-from-bottom Robins held Stockport to a 2-2 draw at Whaddon Road and would have claimed all three points but for a last-minute Michael Raynes equaliser.

Despite this late setback, Allen is pleased with the attitude shown by his players as they bid to stay in League One.

He told the club's official site: "We'll have all the players in, we'll walk tall and be proud of them.

"This lot were getting spanked a few weeks ago so they deserve all the credit.

"It's not me - they're the ones who put the work in on the training pitch. We could be fitter, but it's hard work - we need to get a nice machine going."
