Murray seals extended Robins stay

Championship outfit Bristol City have agreed to extend Scott Murray's loan deal at League One side Cheltenham by a further two months.

The 34-year-old midfielder became Robins boss Martin Allen's first signing at the club on an emergency one-month loan deal in September and has scored two goals so far.

"This morning I have agreed with Bristol City to extend the loan of Scott Murray," Allen told the club's official website.

"I feel this is good news and it was Scott who came to me asking if he could stay, which is a good sign."
