Ridley set to return for Robins

Cheltenham Town defender Lee Ridley returns for the Robins' FA Cup first-round tie at Torquay United on Saturday after a calf injury.

The left-back made his first return from a troublesome injury in the home defeat to Macclesfield back in mid-October but lasted just 11 minutes before being forced off with a recurrence of the problem.

But having again returned to full training he will be hoping for a more successful comeback this time around at Plainmoor.

On-loan duo Frankie Artus and Tom Denton have been granted permission to feature by parent clubs Bristol City and Huddersfield respectively.

Caretaker manager John Schofield had hoped to tie up further deals for one or two new faces before the game, but a decision over the return of West Ham defender Holmar Eyjolfsson will now be made after the forthcoming international break.

Midfielder Oliver Bozanic (knee) is still in light training with a view to resuming full training in around 10 days, while captain Shane Duff (Achilles) is out until early next year.
