Penney praises Quakers scorers

Darlington manager Dave Penney paid tribute to Billy Clarke and Alan White after they were on target in the 3-0 home win over Accrington.

On-loan Ipswich striker Clarke took his goal tally to seven for the season with two fine lobs and White headed home from a corner to wrap up the Quakers' third win in four matches.

A delighted Penney said: "We kept possession well and were especially good in the second-half as our confidence grew.

"We scored some quality goals - Clarke has a touch of class about him and it was good to see Alan White get on the end of a corner because he had an excellent game."
