Darlington boss Steve Staunton is ready to start offloading players to make way for new loan signings and admits "I've got plenty of targets."
Staunton has had five games to evaluate the squad he inherited from Colin Todd in October and has already earmarked several new faces to try to rescue the Quakers' season.
Staunton said: "I'm very interested in the loan market. But I need to create some room in the squad first. I know who we want to get in, and I've got plenty of targets."
Staunton's side have won only one of their 15 league games this season and were knocked out of the FA Cup after a 3-1 first-round defeat at Barnet on Saturday.
Staunton added: "It wasn't good enough. There was nothing in it until we conceded. We're making the same mistakes week after week."
