After joining the club from Falkirk in the summer the centre-back has been sidelined with a knee injury and is expected to remain out for a further three months.

He told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "I'm sure I don't need to tell anyone how frustrating it's been.

"I wanted to come down here and do well for the club and circumstances have obviously changed that. But that just makes me more determined to try and help the team when I do get back to being fit."
