Shunsuke Nakamura admits Celtic's punishing schedule is taking its toll - but he has vowed to play through the pain barrier.
The Japan midfielder has been suffering from groin and knee problems recently, but he is eager to play his part as Celtic chase a domestic treble.
Gordon Strachan had been expected to rest Nakamura for Saturday's Homecoming Scottish Cup clash with Dundee but the 30-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Celtic won 2-1.
Nakamura has now declared himself fit for Sunday's SPL clash at Aberdeen.
"Celtic are fighting for the title, so I can't rest," Nakamura said. "My groin injury is not too painful."
The former Reggina player has also made himself available for Japan's World Cup qualifier against Australia in Yokohama on February 11, four days before the next Old Firm derby.
"It would be better to have a week in Japan to prepare, but there's nothing I can do about it," he added.
"It's exhausting to think about all the games for Celtic coming up before that.
"I'm only human and it's tough. I'm trying not to think about it.
"When you reach 30 you often get pain in the knees and ligaments.
"It's better to go to Japan with a positive attitude. It takes up a lot of energy, but I want to play."
