Klaas-Jan Huntelaar admits he could be tempted to stay at Ajax by the prospect of working with Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp.
Van Basten is due to takeover as head coach after leading Holland at Euro 2008, and Bergkamp will join his new coaching team at Ajax.
Huntelaar is keen to learn from the two striking legends and may put off a lucrative move to a top European club this summer.
The Dutch international has been linked with the likes of Manchester United in the past.
"That's correct," the Eredivisie's top scorer told Ajax Life magazine. "I admire them for what they have achieved.
"For me as a striker it's the creme de la creme to work with.
"They are two former strikers from whom I can learn a lot. I am open to that. Such a thing can become very important when I make up my mind a few weeks from now."
Huntelaar is in his third season at Ajax and in 82 Eredivisie games for the club he has scored 70 goals. This season he led the league with 34 strikes hitting the back of the net.

"Joey 78. Sorry, Ajax not PSV... that was a slip but you havent been too bright with your response... Summer of 2006 he was linked to us.... Summer of 2007 he was linked to us... Summer of 2008 he is being linked to us again.... That's how many times??? And how about having an opinion rather than TRYING to pick holes. "

"IanTaylorisKing - Don't really see ur point regarding van basten and bergkamp, true that both of them stayed in the dutch league for a while..however Huntelaar will be 25 this August, both Van basten and Bergkamp had left by that age... cant see wat he wud gain from spending another 2 or 3 years scoring 3 goals a week against De Graafschap"

"Finny, "If he was to use your mentality he would still be playing for his home town club and not PSV." First of all he's not playing for PSV but for A'dam. Secondly PSV IS his home town club where he grew up through their youth ranks, not taking into account his junior teams. "but this is the third year in a row he has avoided a move to England Spain or Italy and if you ask me he is a CHICKEN! " I doubt he had offers from these countries three seasons ago as he was playing in the First Division back then. Feel free to express your opinion but then also get the facts straight. _j- "
