Valenciennes defender Abdeslam Ouaddou has admitted he would relish a return to England after being linked with a move to newly-promoted Stoke.
The 29-year-old has played previously in the Premier League with Fulham and he could be set for a return this summer with West Brom, Newcastle and Middlesbrough also thought to be keen on the Moroccan.
Stoke are leading the chase following a number of scouting trips to France and Ouaddou has revealed he would welcome a move back across the Channel.
"Any player in the world would consider playing in the Premier League," he said.
"You can test yourself against the best players in the world, it is a dream and I am flattered to be linked with those teams.
"If a club agrees a fee for me, I would go where I was needed and would represent Moroccan football with pride."
Ouaddou's former club Nancy, who have qualified for next season's Champions League, have also shown an interest in him.
