Keegan warns Gunners off Martins
Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan has warned Arsenal off making a move for Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins.

Martins has been continually linked with a possible move to Arsenal with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger thought to be a big admirer of the player.
Reports have suggested Arsenal are lining up a bid for the former Inter ace in the summer as they look to strengthen their squad for a renewed title challenge next season.
However, Keegan says he has not received any bid for Martins and he would not welcome one for the jet-heeled forward.
When asked if he had received any offers, Keegan told the Evening Chronicle: "I haven't, no, but I want to keep all my players and add to them if I can.
"Anyone that goes will be a bit of a blow, especially if something like that happens late on in the summer.
"However, Arsenal have definitely not approached me."

"i don't think martins is the kind of player arsnal need to prosecute the coming season,yeah he's a goal getter but where we critically need reinforcement is in the defence and midfield.defence cost arsenal the title if they've kept their 2-1 and 1-0 leads at bir'ham, o'traf'& stm'd bridge the title would've been ours with ade, R.V.P(Van Persie),bendtner givn the return of vela arsenal is ok upfront what they need to add are midfielders 1 attacking &1 holding midfielders and a very strond & experienced defender, period!!!"

"Raajiv, wat u mean? Adebayor is the sharp tip in the attacking spear. superb in the air, can drift wide and pull defenders away to break for the midfields, i really see he is the one we need badly up front in Arsenal. of course some fine tuning, and he's just the perfect fit. Martins will be a superb addition, alongside Adebayor that is, but not as a replacement."
