Roy Keane has urged people not to get too carried away by the furore surrounding William Gallas' controversial comments about his team-mates.
The Gunners defender has hit the headlines in recent days after lifting the lid on dressing room rifts at the Emirates Stadium and alleging one unnamed team-mate is a divisive influence.
Keane was never afraid to have his say during his time wearing the armband for both Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland, and admits that in part led to his premature departure from Old Trafford.
However, does not believe Arsene Wenger has a major problem to solve.
He said: "Different captains have different ways of dealing with things, and a good, strong dressing room would have maybe three or four captains anyway.
"It wouldn't be fair for me to comment on what the Arsenal captain is supposed to have said, but I have been known to say my bit over the years and what I find, and what we all find, particularly in the Premier League or whether it be through the media, people seem to get upset dead easily.
"One of the problems I had, particularly at the end at Manchester United when I left the club, was allegations of what I was supposed to have said on a video - which was never, ever true - and you end up with an experienced manager and a coaching staff and the biggest PR company in the world getting bogged down by what was allegedly said.
"It ended up certainly contributing to me leaving the club early.
"You take these comments and remarks with a pinch of salt. A good, strong dressing room can deal with certain characters anyway, as long as people don't get too upset with it.
"I would say people need to lighten up."

"yorkshiremackem - he could say "it's none of my business"
Gasworks, there are many great players that make not so great managers - Brian Robson.
And it seems Gallas has been stripped of the captaincy at Arsenal so... thanks for the input Roy. "

"Spanker mate you need to hush your gums man! Keano knows what hes talking about, he was captain of the best team in Europe for years so i think he knows more than you. He's commenting on it because he obviously feels that all this bad press for Gallas is a bit unfair so mate, shut YOUR mouth!!"

"spanker - the answer to your question is because a journalist asked him for his opinion on the Gallas situation, so he gave it. "
Spanker (Liverpool fan)
"I would say Roy has to shut his mouth and concentrate on his own problems. Every day he's commenting willy nilly on every little event in the league. If the Gallas thing isn't a big deal then why must he comment on it from antother club?
I don't know what he's trying to do and I don't think he does either."
