Republic of Ireland keeper Shay Given insists he has no plans to quit Newcastle United for their Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Spurs are in the hunt for a new keeper after seeing summer signing Heurelho Gomes struggle to adapt to life in the English top-flight.
With former Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp now in charge at White Hart Lane, Pompey's England international David James has been touted as a possible target.
Now Given has also been mentioned, but the Magpies shot-stopper insists he has no desire to bring his 11-year stint at St James' Park to an end.
"They have spent money on a goalkeeper already so I don't think they are going to spend any more," he said.
"I'm sure that when Heurelho Gomes gets his confidence back he'll be a very, very good goalkeeper again.
"I wouldn't want to leave Newcastle anyway, I'm very happy where I'm at."

"If the man is happy where he is then what is wrong with that. There is more to life than money. I don't think he will win anything where he is but he win the respect of all true football fans."

"Given at MU would be good for MU and Given, and I would not hold a grudge. Top quality players should have 'wins' to look back on and he would get that at MU, but Spurs.... that's really a step upwards isn't it..."
