The boys at TEAMtalk Towers are buzzing after Simon Wilkes and James Marshment combined forces to deliver the goods on Thursday night.

Wilkes tipped up Wolfsburg to score three or more past Pompey at a tasty 7-2 and had Calamity James to thank, while Marshment gave his crystal ball a good rub and foresaw the draw between Valencia and Club Brugge at 10-3.

We also backed them together in a double at 17-1 so are firmly back on track after a poor start to the week.

Wilkes and Marshment are on duty again for this weekend's tips, while Ian Watson also throws his hat into the ring.

Bolton v Chelsea - Simon Wilkes.

Match drawn, 11-4

This fixture has been a close affair in recent times, with the last four games producing two narrow 1-0 wins for the Blues and two draws (1-1 and 2-2).

Big Phil's troops have started to stutter a bit and head to The Reebok still licking their wounds after the Arsenal defeat. That shock followed dour draws with Bordeaux and Newcastle, and Chelsea simply aren't creating much.

Their stunning away form (7 wins from 7) is the reason for the tasty price on offer for the draw, but they'll be facing a Bolton side buzzing after back-to-back wins in the North-East, where they beat Boro 3-1 and Sunderland 4-1 respectively - with Elmander starting to prove his hefty transfer fee.

MK Dons v Scunthorpe - James Marshment.

MK Dons to win, 11-10

MK Dons go into this one with their manager Roberto Di Matteo celebrating his first manager of the month gong - and whilst some might say that can be a curse, I expect them to go from strength to strength on the back of that. The Dons have won six successive games in League One and can make that a seventh when out-of-form Scunthorpe roll into town.

The Irons have lost their last two in the league and are finally starting to prove my theory that their early-season table-topping form was nothing more than a team punching well above their weight. Injuries and suspensions are starting to bite Scunthorpe's already paper-thin squad and the loss of striker Paul Hayes this week to a broken cheekbone will not have helped matters.

To add further weight to the case, the Dons are conceding less than a goal a game in the league this season and bagging plenty at the other end and I would even be tempted by the 8-1 on offer for a 2-0 home win.

Tranmere v Leeds - Ian Watson.

Tranmere to win, 15-8.

Seventh-placed Leeds travel to Prenton Park on Saturday keen to bounce back from last weekend's humiliating FA Cup exit at Histon, but Gary McAllister's side have big problems ahead of the clash with Rovers, who sit just two places below them in the League One table.

Leeds have lost their last five league matches on the road, which is woeful form by anyone's standards, especially for a team with serious aspirations of achieving promotion.

With top-scorer Jermaine Beckford and Andy Robinson out injured, and player-of-the-season so far Fabian Delph suspended, arresting their poor run of results away from Elland Road looks unlikely against an admittedly inconsistent Rovers team, who will fancy their chances of notching their sixth home win of the season.
