England to tackle Spain in Seville

The Football Association have confirmed England's friendly against European champions Spain will take place in Seville on February 11.

The FA had previously objected to their Spanish counterparts' intention to hold the game at Real Madrid's Bernabeu Stadium due to fears of racist abuse.

Ashley Cole and Shaun Wright-Phillips were both subjected to monkey noises when England last played in Madrid in 2004.

The game will be held at Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, which has a capacity of 45,500.
