Reported Arsenal target Brede Hangeland has again moved to reassure Fulham fans that he has no plans to turn leave Craven Cottage this summer.
The 27-year-old Norway international has been an integral part of the Cottagers' success this season with his impressive displays at centre-back.
Roy Hodgson's men have gone from relegation battlers last term to the brink of Europe this season and they are currently in pole position to clinch seventh place in the table, which would see them qualify for the Europa League.
Hangeland's rock-solid form has seen him linked with a number of Premier League rivals, with the Gunners tipped to be his next destination.
Fulham are keen to secure the former FC Copenhagen man on an extended deal, and have made their intentions known with a four-year contract on the table.
The defender is eager to focus on the club's remaining Premier League games before considering the club's offer, and has revealed how supporters have been pleading with him to pledge his future to the London side.
Hangeland said: "People have said 'don't go' and I've told them I'm happy here."

"reminds you of ronny johnsen and henning berg; solid, no nonsense, dependable norwegian centrebacks. fulham needs european competition to keep him at the club."

"I would be severely disappointed if Arsenal doesn't step up and sign this guy in the off-season."
ArsenalForce (Arsenal fan)
"We're desperate for a defender like Hangeland, he is a class player. We need to bring him in, Gary Cahill from Bolton and also bring back Matthew Upson for a few seasons. We need to offload Kolo Toure, Johann Djourou and Alex Song, they just aren't good enough."
bambamred (Liverpool fan)
"Alexdi, at least he is much better than that shit hole Liverpool once signed Kvarme, if the man is happy Living in a cottage, why bother moving to the Emirates, being Norwegian the Emirates will probably be too warm for him haha."
alexedi (Arsenal fan)
"Typical Norwegian. We are too afraid of speaking our minds and leaving our comfort zones."

"biglaceya wouldn't the professional thing to do be moving to a better club, increase your chances of winning trophies, earn more money etc? I think that most of the problems these days with big players is exactly that they are professional. i.e. they are here to do a job, regardless of the club, loyalties etc. If they offer you 80,000 a week extra at another club, hop off get the money and do a professional job for your new employers elsewhere. Staying at a smaller club, earning less money and limiting your chances of winning trophies is not being professional, its called being loyal and some may even say it shows a total lack of ambition. Speaking in terms of normal employment, business etc, not moving to a bigger employer, offering greater perks, money etc could be shown to be a sign of lack of ambition.. dunno was just a thought. "

"It would be hard to say no to champions league football! and would only take a true true profesiional to turn it down! But hey when we win the europa cup next year we will be in champions league in 2010!! woop woop!

"Hangeland would be mad to not want to move to Arsenal, or any of the top 4 clubs for that matter. Even moving to a club like spurs Man City or Villa would be a step up from his current club Fulham. No offence to Fulham i think they have done well this season, but realistically Fulham will never be challenging for a League title or even a European place, and every top player should be aiming for the best!"
chrissieboy (West Ham United fan)
"He has no plans to turn leaves at Fulham? I should hope not! he is a professional footballer. Surely that is a groundkeeper's job. A strange one at that."
