"Man utd fans - May i remind you all that all this talk about paying over the odds for a 28 yr old is a load of tosh....How much did your fergie pay for Hargreaves and Berbs, those two signings blow your theory out of the water. 28 is probably the perfect age because you still have your pace (if youve been playing consistent football) and you should have the mental toughness of playing through difficult times i.e. a goal drought and defenders trying to wined you up, therefor i think Villa would be ideal for any team. The only manager who wouldnt pay that much for a 28 year old is Wenger but that might be a reason why he isnt as successful than fergie or Morinho (when he was at chelski)."
