"To all the Scotland Football haters.
If you look at the history of the "Battle of Britain" you will see that the old firm have done reasonably well.
I do agree that the top 6 in the EPL are better but after a short period of adjustment both the old firm with their increased spending power and fan base would start to be more competitive. Its geographical / league location that stops the old firm attracting the best players not the clubs themselves...within 5 years of being in English football the qulaity of Rangers would improve. The EPL is such a massive money making entity this is why we are now competing with low end EPL teams for players and we cant match the money they can offer!"

"zuluisgrate good point i disagree though i think Rangers and Celtic are not good enough for the championship, even in league one teams like Leeds would hammer them lol"

"McLeish could buy some of our blue seats as well if he pays enough....just pop into your local Lloyds for details!"
tom4blues (Birmingham City fan)
"I agree with the fact that players from scotland are not able to perform to a high level and be the best in our team, david murphy may have been good for hibs but just cant perform even at championship level. And i think i speak for a lot of blues fans when i say that Kris Boyd isnt welcome, if he was selfish and arrogant enough to not want to come before because of money he can stay at rangers. Majid and steven davis ok, but please not boyd."
macs1 (Manchester United fan)
"alex mcleish realises that rangers cant be in the epl so he has decieded to buy all their players."
zuluisgrate (Nottingham Forest fan)
"When will Alex McLeish learn that the best from Scotland are only good enough for the Championship? Rangers and Celtic will find this out to their cost if they ever end up mixing it up with the best (that's assuming the FA don't do what's right, and make them start in the Conference North division 2 like everyone else)"
