Former Charlton winger Colin Powell thinks his team are heading into a no-win situation when they travel to Northwich Victoria in the FA Cup.
The Addicks travel to the non-leaguers - who saw off FC United of Manchester in the last round - in The First Round hoping to avoid a banana skin.
Powell, currently the groundsman at the Valley, was in the side that saw off the Vics 2-0 in the Cup 19 years ago and is hoping for a similar result this time around.
He told the official website: "That's the first thing you would hope and pray for, a home draw, hopefully against someone that's not going to give you too much trouble.
"There's nothing worse than drawing a non-League club away. If you win 5-0, everyone says you were expected to beat them. If you lose, you're the butt of everyone's jokes.
"They are horrible games, no question about it, and most of the pitches are not up to the standard that the players are used to. I know it will be difficult, but you just have to treat it like a league game."
