The Terriers' reward for dismantling local rivals Bradford 4-0 is a home draw again and another Yorkshire derby in the second round against Kevin Blackwell's Blades, who the Terriers beat 2-1 earlier this month.

Ternent said: "It's another derby match for us, there should be a decent crowd and a good atmosphere and it's one for the fans to enjoy.

"The pre-season friendly result counts for nothing - the game was just about fitness for both sides - so this is a good competitive fixture to look forward to.

"We've got home advantage, but I think we're the underdogs because they've got a strong squad, one which has been together a lot longer than ours, and they are among the favourites to go up to the Premier League."

The second-round tie will be played during week commencing August 25.
