NAC take slender lead in play-off
Heerenveen took control of their UEFA Cup play-off meeting with NAC Breda with a 2-0 win, while NEC Nijmegen beat 10-man FC Groningen.

Paulo Henrique was the star of the show for Heerenveen as they won their home leg comfortably to put themselves into a good position going into the return.
There was only 15 minutes to go when Henrique broke the deadlock, but he added a second on 84 minutes to give Heerenveen the edge.
Meanwhile Nijmegen moved a step nearer to the Intertoto Cup with a 1-0 victory over FC Groningen in the first leg of their tie.
Groningen were reduced to ten men in the 64th minute when Gibri Sankoh was sent off for a second bookable offence.
NEC made the most of their numerical advantage as Jermain Lens scored the only goal of the contest on 71 minutes.
