The Dutch football association have granted FC Utrecht coach Ton du Chatinier his coaching licence.
Du Chatinier was installed as Utrecht coach in December when he replaced Willem van Hanegem who was sacked after admitting he intended to leave the club at the end of the season.
Du Chatinier did not have the required coaching badges at that time, which meant the club had sought dispensation from the KNVB to allow him to take charge.
Du Chatinier has now obtained the necessary qualifications and is therefore free to remain at the club next season.
"After several judgements the talks finally ended on Wednesday when they told me that all was well and that I will get the licence," Du Chatinier told the club's website.
