Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris insists Lyon have plenty of time to turn around their poor early-season form and keep their title challenge on track.
Sunday's 1-1 draw at home to Rennes left Claude Puel's side two points behind Ligue 1 leaders Bordeaux and without a win in four games at the Stade Gerland, where they have already dropped seven points this season.
That represents a continuation of the late-season slump which saw them finish only third last season having won the title in each of the previous six campaigns.
But France international Lloris told L'Equipe: "It's not serious. We are two points behind Bordeaux. We must pick up points, we cannot have regrets after each match.
"We stumbled against a good Rennes team but, in the championship, there are lots of good teams. We did some good things, but we cannot be content with this type of performance. We have all the qualities to bounce back.
"Last year, it was much more difficult because it happened in the second half of the season. This year, we have been warned. It has happened in November, we must do all we can to avoid this sort of result happening again.
"We must throw ourselves back into hard work. We have a week to prepare for the game at Lille, which will be another tough test."

"Lloris is one of the best keepers in the world in my opinion, and still very young! we need more quality young keepers in the premier league like Lloris, and Neuer at Schalke!
Man United must realise Foster is never gonna be a decent enough keeper for atop four team...let him go to Everton or Fulham (No Disrespect)"

"this guy had more of a hand in france getting to the world cup than henry or anybody else (excuse the pun). i think ireland had 2 good chances in the first game and 3 in the second leg that this guy dealt with excellently.
if i was alex ferguson, i would bring in this guy asap."
