Accrington assistant manager Jimmy Bell insists he will not accept a repeat of the performance at Darlington last weekend.
The Reds lost 3-0 against Dave Penney's side, which left frustrated boss John Coleman suggesting the Quakers 'won the game without getting out of bed'.
Bell confirmed the players have been told they will have no future at the club if they continue to perform in that manner.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Internally, John and myself have reminded them what is expected of them.
"We were really disappointed with how they applied themselves at Darlington. We've laid down the law for them and let the lads know that it's not acceptable.
"We've told them that if they carry on playing like that, they won't be playing for us."
