Hartlepool manager Neale Cooper wants supporters to be patient with the club's teenagers who have been in good form recently.
Cooper lauded the impact made by Luke James, Jack Baldwin and Callum Hassan after they all made their first-team debuts in the past month.
James has already impressed Pools fans by netting a sensational strike in the victory over Rochdale, but Cooper has warned fans not to expect too much from the youngsters.
He told the Hartlepool Mail: "I've been there myself as a youngster coming into a team and you can be in and out, up and down.
"That's to be expected and it's all part of the learning process. Jack and Luke have come in and have done excellently, they really have.
"But they will have off days, older players do as well, and you can't expect too much from them over a long period at this stage."
