Hearts manager Paulo Sergio feels his faith in the board has been vindicated after players received their monthly wages on time on Thursday.
Hearts also paid players sufficiently quickly last month to escape Scottish Premier League action after three major delays sparked a complaint.
Sergio said: "I always said that I trusted the board was working hard to resolve the very hard period that the club are now leaving.
"We have been paid on time and are all very happy about that.
"I trust the board that they will do everything they can to ensure the situation doesn't happen again."
