Striker Jon Parkin has returned to parent club Cardiff following the end of his loan spell at Huddersfield.
The 30-year-old made three appearances during a two-month stint with the club after joining the Terriers as cover for the suspended Alan Lee at the end of November.
Parkin, whose previous clubs include Hull, Stoke and Preston, played the full 90 minutes for Huddersfield against Charlton and Bournemouth, but after stepping off the bench at Sheffield Wednesday in early December he only has been selected three times as an unused substitute.
The 6ft 3in forward has found it difficult to force his way back into manager Lee Clark's first-team plans due to the impressive form of Lee, Jordan Rhodes and Lee Novak.
