Rochdale will prepare for the new season by hosting Championship club Hull at Spotland for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 28.

The game will kick off at 3pm and is set to be the second of three games against Championship opposition before Rochdale get their League Two campaign under way.

Blackburn are the visitors on July 25 before their east Lancashire rivals Burnley arrive on August 7.

John Coleman's Dale also face Marine FC and Southport away from home as part of their preparations.
