Dave Jones is not concerned if his relaxed approach to football management gives people outside of Sheffield Wednesday the wrong impression.

Jones, who achieved success at previous clubs Stockport and Wolves before twice falling just short of steering Cardiff to promotion via the play-offs, has brought a contrasting style of management to Hillsborough after replacing Gary Megson in March.

"We all show things in different ways," Jones said. "People think I'm laid back and everything else, but I'm quite precise in what I want, how I go about it and what I expect. It's just that I have a different way of doing it than probably other people do.

"Some people will shout about it and get it done, others will be more relaxed and my approach is different to how other people are.

"That's why you bring together members of staff who are not all the same, but you have the same goal and the same aim.

"We all have different ways and different attributes and that completes the team off the field and hopefully makes it right on the field."
