Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Chesterfield and Brentford at the b2net Stadium.

Chesterfield manager John Sheridan is expected to leave team selection until as late as possible for his side's final game of the season due to injury concerns.

Several unnamed players are nursing bumps and bruises as the relegated Spireites prepare for their last match in League One and could be given late fitness tests.

Veteran striker Jack Lester, who has missed the last seven games since sustaining a groin injury in last month's Johnstone's Paint Trophy triumph over Swindon, remains sidelined, as does defender Neal Trotman, who has missed the previous five matches due to a knee injury.

Last week's 3-2 defeat at Yeovil ensured relegation to League Two after just one season in the third tier.

Myles Weston is pushing for a return to the Brentford squad.

The winger had been sidelined for six weeks with an ankle injury but has now returned to training.

Simon Moore is set to continue in goal with regular number one Richard Lee still struggling with a shoulder injury.

Defender Marcel Eger is fit after an ankle problem but skipper Kevin O'Connor remains on the sidelines due to a foot injury.

Manager Uwe Rosler has vowed to field his strongest possible side despite their play-off hopes coming to an end last weekend.

Youth striker Luke Hacker could be involved again after making his debut from the bench in the 2-1 defeat by Sheffield Wednesday.
