Walsall have snapped up young winger James Baxendale ahead of the upcoming season following his release by Doncaster.
The 19-year-old, a product of the Leeds academy, joined Rovers last summer but only made a handful of appearances and finished last season on loan at Hereford.
Saddlers boss Dean Smith told the club's official website: "James is a skilful player who understands the game. We've had him here since the start of pre-season and during that time he has displayed fantastic commitment and a real work ethic.
"We see him as someone who is really going to push on and do well for us. He's a ball carrier who can see a pass and has the ability to unlock defences. He will bring an exciting dimension to our play."
