Jon Taylor: Fit for Town

Team news ahead of the League One clash between Shrewsbury and Brentford at Greenhous Meadow.

Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner is likely to name an unchanged starting line-up.

Winger Jon Taylor was a Boxing Day doubt for the trip to Notts County but recovered from a hamstring injury to start and duly played his part in the late equaliser which rescued a 2-2 draw at Meadow Lane.

Taylor's cross-come-shot was punched into his own net by caught out goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski, who has been credited with an own goal although the effort may well be given to the Shrews man for what would be his fourth goal in four games.

Turner kept faith with the same XI for a third successive match against the Magpies and the impressive point means he will see little need for change.

Midfielder Mark Wright (knee) will again be assessed as he looks to make his comeback but fellow midfielder Luke Summerfield (hernia) remains out.

Meanwhile, fringe striker Ryan Doble has been ruled out for between three to six weeks after breaking a bone in his hand during training.

Brentford will be without midfielder Tom Adeyemi.

The 21-year-old was sent off just before half-time in the 3-1 victory over Colchester, which made it five league wins in a row for the high-flying Bees.

He now serves a one-match ban.

Goalkeeper Richard Lee deputised for the injured Simon Moore on Boxing Day and could retain his place.

It will cap a good week for the 30-year-old, following the announcement of his new deal with the club, which runs until the summer of 2014.

Defender Lee Hodson was recalled to the side that beat the U's having missed the previous game due to being cup-tied.

Midfielder Kevin O'Connor (ankle) and striker Farid El Alagui (knee) remain sidelined.
