Tranmere remain top of League One after a 2-0 win over Crawley, while Sheffield United slipped to fourth following a 2-1 home defeat to Yeovil.

Rovers enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 victory at Prenton Park thanks to goals from David Amoo and Zoumana Bakayogo.

Managerless Doncaster, on the other hand, didn't have it all their own way. James Dunne gave Stevenage the lead, but the visitors hit back through Iain Hume and Chris Brown to snatch the win to stay second on goal difference.

Brentford moved up to third in the table after Sheffield United's home defeat to Yeovil, with Clayton Donaldson scoring both goals for the Bees in a 2-0 win at Oldham.

The Blades lost by the same score at Bramall Lane, with Paddy Madden scoring twice in the second half for the visitors, who moved up to eighth.

Swindon and Bournemouth remain fifth and seventh respectively after a 1-1 draw at Dean Court.

Harry Arter gave Bournemouth the lead, but Adam Williams equalised five minutes from time.

At the bottom of the table, Hartlepool remain cut adrift after a 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury, who opened the scoring through Jon Taylor. Charlie Wyke equalised for the visitors.

Colchester dropped into the bottom four, swapping places with their opponents, after losing 2-1 at home to Scunthorpe.

Jimmy Ryan and Karl Hawley put Scunthorpe in command, before substitute Freddie Sears pulled one back.

Bury remain in the relegation zone despite Steven Schumacher's equaliser giving them a 1-1 draw at MK Dons, who had taken the lead through Dean Bowditch.

Leyton Orient and Crewe drew 1-1 thanks to goals from Lee Cook and Byron Moore, while Portsmouth's game with Notts County was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Fratton Park.
