Boss Terry Brown insists he will not be throwing AFC Wimbledon's young guns into the team even though the Dons are now safe.
Players like back up goalkeeper Jack Turner were expected to get their opportunity once Brown's team had enough points on the board to guarantee League Two football next season.
However, Brown says that will not be the case.
He told the Hounslow Chronicle: "It's difficult. If we are giving the young boys a chance, and our boys here are really young, what might that do given we still have to play the likes of Torquay and Shrewsbury?
"They will get their opportunity. What I need to do is look at some of the older players who may or may not be here next season and that is my priority really."
