Crawley caretaker boss Craig Brewster has told his players they cannot rely on results elsewhere if they are to secure automatic promotion.
Town slumped to a shock 3-0 defeat by Hereford last weekend but a victory at Accrington would still see them pip Torquay and Southend to third place.
Brewster told The Argus: "The thing for me is that it is still in our own hands. A win and it still takes us there so that is what we have to prepare for.
"It is in black and white - we need to win because the other teams will win. Torquay will have a really tough game at Hereford but Southend will win, I have no doubt about that.
"We let ourselves down on Saturday and now we need to show what we are about. I told the players in the dressing room that good players respond and we need a response next week."
